An Intern Welcome and A Return to the Empire State
Summer is often known for escaping the office but it is also a time when interns flood the workplace.
Indoor Environmental Concepts is pleased to welcome Shelby Longo, a South Jersey native who just completed her freshman year at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, PA. The former high school valedictorian, who is studying Biology, will be part of the IEC team through August during which time she will assist with preparing reports, logging results and tracking projects. Shelby will also work in the field, gaining hands-on experience with lead sampling, mold inspections and other disciplines.
In other firm news, Partner and Vice President Robert J. DeMalo, M.Sc., has been recertified as a New York State Asbestos Building Inspector by the by New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) – a designation he previously held from 1991 to 1996. This is part of IEC’s expansion plans to provide asbestos inspections, air monitoring and testing in workplaces, schools and residences across New York State
